Alnico magnets are made from a combination of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt, along with iron and other elements. They are known for their excellent temperature stability, and durability. Alnico magnets are not as strong as rare-earth magnets such as Neodymium magnets. Alnico magnets are commonly used in sensors, guitar pickups, and industrial applications. We also carry a range of Alnico educational magnets which are less brittle than the common ferrite educational magnets in the market.
